CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. I». The first round of Sections A and B in the. New Zealand amateur snooker championships was completed yesterday. Results were: L. Rudduck (Otago) beat J. Bradley (Auckland) three games to nil, F. Anson (Canterbury) beat A. Albertson (Canterbury) 3 — 2, W. Smith (Canterbury) beat A. Billens (Canterbury) 3—0, J. j Munro (Canterbury) beat L. j Blackaby (Wellington) 3—2.
