TWO MEN ELECTROCUTED

CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 16. Two linesmen of the Post and Telegraph Department were eleetroeuted about 2.30 p.m. xoday at Hororata. They were engaged in replacing telephone wires when one wire contacted a poxver line. The men were: — Frank Methven, aged 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Methven, Halswell. John Leslie Bell, aged 32, whose mother lives at St. Kilda, Melbourne, Australia. Artifieial respiration was applied for . two hours without suceess. v A third man, Percival Edward Walton, aged 25, 43 Hood -Street, New Brighton, suffpi'ed injuries whieh are not considered serious.
