WELLINGTON'S SECOND WIN OVER AUCKLAND.

1 AUCKLAND, Sept. 15. Wellington representatives scored their second Rugby win of the season over Auckland on Saturday by 17 points to 9. Wellington Js success was even more clear out than in the previous'game at Athletic Park on August 31. The score at half time was 6 — 3 in Auckland 's favour but any hopes that Auckland held of winning the match, were dispelled early in the sec-, ond half when Wellington forwards gained almost complete control. Wellinglon backs hrtd a feast of the ball. Good covering defence by Auckland repeatedly drove them across the field iii the first half. Changing tactics in the second spell, Wellington 's inside backs swung back to the forwards who gaine'd much ground. Wellington forvVarde were very impressive. Once again they gave the Auckland pack a- lesson in every department.
