AUCKLAND, ,Scpt. 13. Following the diseovery this niorniiig of battered portions of the 30ft. lauucli Queen of Beautv, in the harbour at Port Waikato, a search party iate ia the afternoon fouud the body of one of its two oecupants. Thc victim and owner of the lauiu'h was Mr. Keitli Thonias Palmer, aged 30, marriod with tliree children, of Tuakau. Tlie seeond oceupant of the lauucli was Mr. Chat'lie Keunedy, aged about 75, widower, of t'ort Waikato. No trace of hiin had been t'ound when the seurch was iliscontiuued tonight. Tlie two men left in tlie Queon ot Beautv at 10 a.m. 011 Thursday on a fisliing trip over Port Waikato bar. AlIhough tlie weather was not particularly unpleasaut at that time, residents of the port expressed the opiniou that they were unwise to set out and the men sUggested that if the sea at the bar was too rough when they wished to return, they would stuy out all uiglit aud como back in daylight. At dawn this morning, however, a part of a hatch and the wheelhouse of the Queen of Beauty was fouud near the wharf.
