WELLINGTON, Hept. lii. "If anxietv to aseertain if their namos are on the electoral roll, is any critcrion, the interest of people in politics in eonneetion with the eoining eleetion is greater than ever before," said the Registrar of Eleetors for the Wellington area, Mr. T. C. Bowker to duy. He was commenting on the heavv rusli of people to enrol before the main rolls elosed tonight. "In the past two days, more than 3000 new enrolments have been ef'fected in this offtce. Many more people have called to malce sure their names are alreadv on the roll. There have been many applieations by mail also.
