WELLIXGTON, Sept. 12. A marked expansion "of" Aero'Clut) activities is shown in the civil aviation statistics for the quarter ended June 30 against the previous quarter. Aircratt in use by ciubs increased from 13 to 28 and private licences from 79 to 162. Cominereial licences show a reductiou from 27 to 19. Commercial operations of clubs also increased eonsiderably, 449 trips being carried out compared with 127. Passengers carried totalled 449 against 127. Statistics for the commercial services show a jiimp in the amount of freigtu carried from 87,4'261b. to 111,0(5011). Aivmail increased from 104,85311). to 130,0591b. Passengers numbered 17,026 (16,029).
