BICYCLE TYRES WITHOUT PERMITS NOW

Press Association

By Telegraph —

WELLINGTON, Sept. 12. The revocation of two further fac- 1 tory control notices was announced by the Minister of Supply, Hon. D. G. Sullivan, tonight. They are the Bicycle Tyre and Tnbe Control Notice, 1942, and the Rubber Control Notice, 1942. Mr. Sullivan said the revocation of the former meant that from now on the public may purchase without permits cyde tyres and tubes, while the revocation of the latter means ' that the restrictions on the use of raw rubber have been removed. The improving supply position meant that a continuance of these controls was no longer justified, said the Minister.
