SWIM SUITS UNDER POLICE BAN
SYDNEY, Sept. 9. The police iiave issued a warning coueerning the wearing of the new G-string swim suits on public beaches, statiug that this would not be peruiitted in auy circumstanees, irrespective of the attitude of the local councils. A department, store, which first displayed the models in a spring mannequin parade last week, reports that a mnnber of such costunies liave been sold. It is understood that they wero bought for private sunbathing.
