POSTER WARNING TO GERMAN GIRLS
FRATERNISING WITH BRITISH Received Tuesday, 10 a.m. HERFORD, Sept. 9. An Allied Control Commission official stated that security oflficers are investigating the origin of posters which apjieared in Dusseldorf, warning German girls against fraternising with British soldiers. ° The posters, which were mimeographed, show a fraulein in the arms of a British soldier against a background of war, and devastation, and under the caption "1943 — 1946." Most of the posters have been overscored in pencil with replies in German, such as "Blame Hitler for this."
