Received Saturday, 9.49 a.rn. BOMBAY, Sept. 6. It is officially announced that eleven were killed and twenty-four injured between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. today. For the first time in six days the nation is easier. No cases of >vSon or looting were reported te* "" A p.m., but the police opened fire ;wice. Seventy-four were arrested. The total casualties for the six days are 213 dead and 634 injured. Reuter's correspondent says that more than 2000 people have been arrested and the Bombay prisons are overflowing. A temporary internment camp has been opened in the suburbs. One Moslem was drenched with acid near the centre of the city. About 3000, including many middleclass Moslems, have left the city. Monsoon rain storms compelled most of the trouble makers to stay indoors. Workers in 24 textile mills of North Bombay, absented themselves because of fear.
