Personal 7 Mr. and Mrs. Baker, who have been on holiday in the South Island, have returned to Otaki. Mr. and Mrs, J. F. Nicolson, who have been on holiday in Otaki, left for Waimate, their future home, on Wednesday. Inspector Peters, who has been on duty- in Otaki and district for the past eleven month's, has received notice of transfer to Kaikohe, and leaves for the~ nortli on Wednesday. Inspector Peters, who has been a most conscientious officer, will carry with him the best wishes of many friends. Mrs. Peters will also be greatly missed, she being a popular lady, winning many friends by her quiet, unassuming nature. Inspector Davis, of Auckland, will fill the vacancy caused by Inspector Peters' transfer. The funeral of- the late Mastev "Billy" Deller took place at Otaki -yesterday, following a;r impressive serviee at All Saints' Church. conducted by Canon Fry, who made feeiing reference to the departecl, while sympathy was extencled to his relatives. The church was full to capacity, while the display of wreaths was very fine. as weil as numerous, demonstrating to the popularity of the young f'ellow. The serviee at the graveside was also conducted by Canon Fry m the presence of a large and sympathetic gathering. Tho bercaved have been the recipients of numerous messages of sympathy.
