AUCKLAjND, riept. 4. I lligh liopes for the success of tlie wool auctions to be resumed in New Zealand tliis month after a lapse during the iviir years, wero expressed by Mr. G. A. Jfiuncau, cliairman of the New Zealand Wool Disposal Commission and director of -the new Joint Empire Organisation, on his return from England wlieve he attended meetings of United Kingdom Wool Disposals, Ltd. The meeting decided to inaugurate wool auctions in Britain, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa this month. The establishment of this itnique Empire partnersliip, had been achieved by the completion of a series of agreements between the British anu Dominiou Governmfents and by the forniatiou of a private joint stock company in London, stated Mr. Duncan.
