MEAT WORKERS ON STRIKE
Received Tuesday, 9.5 p.m. 4 LOKDON, fSept. 3. Hundreds of tons of meat were left undelivered in London yesterday as tlie result of the Smithfield meat workers' strike on the "closed sliop" issue. The Daily Telegraph says if the strike continues tlie Governnieht may ca'll in troops to ensure the distrdbutioii of accumulated supplies but will not not directly intervene in Ihe dispute itself.
