THURSDAY AND FRIDAY
MATINEE THURSDAY 1.30 P.M. "God Is My Co-Pilot," Warner Bros.' latest film testimonial to brave men is laid against a background of exploits of latter day legionnaires. The drama, starring Dennis Morgan and featuring a fine supporting cast that includes Raymond Massey, Andrea King, Dane Clark, Alan Hale and John Ridgley, is the story of the most gallant group of volunteers in aviation history. The film, which on Thursday at the Regent Theatre, is the saga of the A.V.G. and of its hellions-r-the Flying Tigers. It is a tale of iron men and of their Curtiss P-40's that were "damned by words and fiown to glory." Second attraction — "She's a Sweetheart," Columbia Pictures' new comedy currently at the Regent Theatre, certainly is a sweetheart of a picture with a c'anteenful of fun. Jane Frazee, as the sweetheart, is the kind of gal to sing about . . . sigh about . . . dream about . . . as she trips down lovers' lane . . . with the U.S. Army in her arms. "Secret Weapon": Chapter 7 "Spy Sniasher" Serial.
