It then c.rossed Cook .Strait and spent some time over Christchurch where niessages were broadcast in supporl of the campaign for food for Britain. The Aries got as far as Ashburton where it turnod north again to ensure a sufficient . margin of fuel for thc return flight to Auckland. As manv eities and towns as possiblc were ineluded in the rcvised itinerary. The Aries is to leave Whenuapai f'or Fiji on Wednesday inorniiig if the weather is suitabio. It will then ccon tinue to Wydnev and tliree weeks will lie spent in Australia before the return flight to Britain Is begun.
