Pcrsonnl Mrs. Lyons, of Tasman Beaeh Otaki, is at present a patient in a private hospital at Levin. Mrs. Wastie, of Otaki, at present a patient in the Wellington Hospital, is reported to be making good progress. Mrs. Wastie expects. to be home within three weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Ron King and baby; Michael, of Maungaturoto, North Auckland, after spending a shorl noliday with Mr. King's parents at Awarua Street, Tasman Beach, have left for their home by roaa. iicensing Bench The quarterly meeting oi the Dtaki Licensing Bench wiil be held at Levin on Friday. ( State Houses Another tive State houses are to be erected in Foxton. A dozen oi io houses in Otaki are badly wanted. Drinking at Dances On Saturday nighc the police visited a dance at Te Iloro and as a result there will be several prosecutions for the offence of drinking alcohoiic liquor in the vicinity of u dance hall.
