BUSH RETAIN SHIELD
HOROWHENUA ACCOUNTED FOR Bush succeeded in withstanding Horowhenua's ehallenge for the Bebbington Shield. on Saturday, winning by 11 points to nil. The Horowhenua team found the Pahiatua ground heavy going, and failed to give even a glimpse of the form they displayed in the game against Manawatu the previous week. Bush on the other hand, turned in quite a good display, scoring two tries, one of which was converted, and kicking a penalty goal.
