DEATH OF CRACK PILOT
Keceived .Sundav. 7 p.m. NEW YOR'k, August 31. Jack Woolanis, the BeJI Aiivraft Gomjianv's chief test jiilot, nationally known as a speed flier, was killed when an Airacobra crashed into Lake Ontario. Woolanis was 20 years of age and had been assigned to test the Aruiy's new supersonic rocket powered aiivraft which is designeil to fly belueen 000 and 1300 miles an hour.
