The fields did not fill out too well for the Foxton mfcpting, to, be held on the club's course at Foxton to-morrow, tui they are of handy size and the racing should be close and interestihg. . Rain has left the track soft, but a continuance of fine weather - should leave it in much better order than was the .cjise earlier in the week. At New Plymouth the combined Taranaki and Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Ciub will conclude its fixture, while at Addington th'e Metropolitan Trotting Club's August meeting will be concluded. Win and place betting operates at all fixtures. Prospects for the three meetings are: •
