WANGANUI, Aug. 28. As a climax to almost a fortnight of lileah, wet and windy Aveather, heaw snow fell inland during the night and in some areas was still falling today. Tlie desert road north of Waiouru is blocked by several inches of snow and the telcpiione between Taihape and National Fark disrupted. Snow is still falling lieavilv on the higli countrv near Taihape and up to midmorning several inches had fallcn in Waiouru Camp.
