FLOWER SALES STEADY Messrs. Townsend and Paul, Ltd., fruit and produce merchants, Wellington, report that as is seasbnal supplies of fruit are now dwindling. choice lines being placed to advantage. . Larger quantities of cut blooms have been available' for flower auctions, values remaining steady. Most varieties of vegetables . have been sought, carrots, sprouts, cauliflowers and leeks oeing m particularly . keen demand, while good .quality green peas and new potatoes have, been wanted. Larger quantities of roosters have come to hand, prime birds, however, being at improved rates.
