NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 27. An inereased allocation of power is to be made available to -all electricity supply authorities from Thursday, ' according to advice re'ceived to -night from the Dominion Controller, Mr. F. T. M. Kissel. ■Mr. Kissel said the increase would amount to about three per cent. and would be a reversion to the quotas allocated last December. At least two cuts had been m'ade since December, one in March and one in May. Some power boards, however, had been using much more than their allocatrons and their consumption almost amounted to that allowed under new quotas.
