After full j discussion a resolution was passed , go the effefet that the convention , bring to the notice of the NeW Zea- ] land Junior Chamber of Commerce , ihat certain deficiencies exist • . in j Ghe system of organisea education, and that it recognise its limitations and recommend that,. all Junior ' Ghambers lend personal incorporate support to approved voluntary , sducational youth organisations. ' Owing to bad weather, the -trip to the Mangahao Power Station I arranged for the afternoon, was j cancelled, and the conventioii wds ! officially closed by the president of bhe Wellington Junior Chamber,. Mr. J. Heineman. . Mr. Heineman expressed appreciation of the efforts of the convention executive, Messrs D. Gibbons, J. Barr and R. Maiden. He then thanked the president of the Levin Junior Chamber, Mr. D. J. Sweetzer, and his executive for the hospitality extended to the visiting members. Messrs F. Greenaway (Lower Hutt) and S. Jacobs (Canterbury) also expressed appreciation of the work done by the Levin executive. Mr. D. J. Sweetzer, in reply, said how pleased the Levin Junior Chamber had been to entertain their visitors, and hoped that Levi'11 would again be the centre of the convention.
