Accident During Flood | On Wednesday, while climbing over a fence in the process of assisting the menfolk to -get stock out of the flooded area of their | farm, Miss Audrey Allen fell ' and suffered a painful accident, I which necessitated her being conveyed to Levin, where she . was an inmate of the hospital ' there pending the result of jan X-ray, which proved that one I bone of her forearm was fracuireu and the other badly crucked. Miss 'Allen returned home on Thursdav.

but may have to return to hospital for further treatment iater. It will be some time before she cah carry on with her normal activities. This , is indeed unfortunate for the family, as Mr. Allen has also been very ill and is still confined to his eed.
