The champion galloper Kindergarten 'is shortlv to'join U. J." Thomson 's stable at Awapuni. Kindergarten has been in light work at Gisborne for soine timc and his owner, Mr. E. N. Eitzgerald, if very hopeful that'Tie will stand a further prep'aration. Now eight years old, Kindergarten has not raced since he won the James Hazlett Gold Cup in January, 1945. His t'uture opportunitieS would be very limited. but. the-re are still several # weight-for-a'go races suitable for him should'lie ixihterialise.
