After having -again discussed the shortage of nurses, the Dannevirke -Hospital Board has decided to make representations to the Department of Health, through the Hospital Boards' Association, 'with a view to obtaining exemption for nurses from the payments oi" Social Security taxes as a means of encouraging girls joining the fession.Prevloxisly --the - chairman of the board.
