The Australian Jockey Club cominittee is considering building an inslitu'.e to house the school for apprentices. and to provido cultural and social ajnenities for jockeys generally. This move has been pronipted by the eontinued success of the apprentices ' school, at wliicli the average attendanee in the year just closed was 43. .
