Received Tuesdav. S.25 p.m. . SYDNEY, August 20. That Stadiums Liinitcd had refused to give permission to the fighter, Dave Sands, to engage in contests in New Zealand, was announced today by the nianager of tlie Rushcutters Bav stad ium, Alr. Ilarrv Miller. He said that Sands was under contract to Stadiums Limited and would not be permitted to go to New Zealand. Permission was granted in the cuse of Yic Patrick and the result was unfavourable for the conipany. Patrick was beaten, his nosc was injured and the dela.v cuused tlie .•ancellat ion of the trip to Australia by ihe British Fmpire light weight champion, Ron .Tnmos. - - -
