SQUATTERS FORESTALLED

Received Wednesday 1 a.m. LONDON, August 20. Squatters who arrived to occupv disused arniy huts at Windsor Orea.t Park on part of the Royal estate, found tliemselves forestalled. The Iving gave permission to tlie Windsqj Corporation 10 take over the huts for billeting several hundred worknien employed in building 300 liouses. Sentries with fixed bayonets prevented other squatters from talcing possession of liuts on Dover Cliffs whicli they were told were wanted for the army though soldiers who formerly occupied them moved recently to Dover Castle. More German war prisoners have been moved to Burnham Beeches camp wliieh the squatters are already sharing with 40 prisoners who have begun dismantling the huts for removal to their tent camp in a neighbouring district. Twelve families now oceupy the anti aireraft battery's huts at Primrose HUI. Royal Park, near Regents Park, Central London.
