EIGHT PEOPLE KILLED Received Wednesday, 9.45 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 20. Eight lost their lives when a Lancastrian crashed in flames near Bernay, about eighty miles west of Paris, says Reuter's Paris correspondent. There was only one survivor, who was taken to hospital. An eye-witness said: "The whole thing was over in a couple of seconds. The plane blazed like a furnace."
