MAGIC ARTIFICIAL EYES
R'e'ceived Monday, 7 p.m. LONDON, August 19. As the result of co-oper'ation between the Tfa-vy'si dentists, opthalmic surge'ons and medical artists, artificial eyes made from plastic have heen reveloped, which move in the eye socket 96 perfectly that they are indistinguishable from natural eyes. Thus far 248 naval men who lost an eye during the war, have received these pl^Stic eyes so carefully matched with the remaining eye. Two are needed, one for day afid the other for night when the natural pupil is larger. The new artificial eyes besides immunity from iiritation and corrosion, will last indefinitely whereas glass eyes last only six months to two years.
