A Government official reported 15,000 "most desperate" veterans and families were all hoping to move into one oi the nation 's hut villages eapable of housing only 1500 families. Fifty thousand high building priorities have been issued in Los Angeles alone in the past live months but at least 10,000 are not started because of the shortage of materials.
