POWER RATIONING
"MUD AND DARKNESS.
Sir, — Have you a little space to devote to power rationing?*As a user of power one would wonder if the cohtrollers gave any thought to the results of these cutouts at certain periods. For instance I am milking 80 cows. W e cannot start befo're four o'clock in the afternoon as power is off and if we do the cows get upset, wherea's we should be going by 3.30 at the latest. It means we have to burn the lights for over an hour at the least, and crawl inside out of mud and slush at 7 p.m. and after, as working in the dark t-akes longer. This is not a complaiht, but just to show that I am for one compelled by the authorities to burn morfe power than I usually do. Yours etc..
