HOROWHENUA SENIOR RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP
By accounting: for Athletic when they met in the play-off on Saturday, Hui Mai have won the second round of the Horowhenua senior rugby championship. They will again have to face Athletic, the first round winners, in the final. The Nash Cup senior knockout competition was commenced on Saturday and Shannon and Wanderers, who were beaten by Otaki and ! ( Foxton respectively, liave been elimjnated. The junior championship reached its conclusion with Saturr day's games; Wanderers have won the northern divLsion and Waimelia the southern, and these two teams will now«have to meet in the final. The third grade competition also reached its end, College A taking the honours.
