Ouce more the steeplechase at Hastings on Saturday was full of incident, only the winixer, Baron Bold, and the second horse, Rondelle, linishing with their origihal riders, the thi'rd and fourth horses, Oriental Lady . and Timothy, being romounted by apeetators after they had fallen. However, a fuj'ther diversiqn occurred on the completion of the race when Baron Bold showed his conteinpt for the poor opposition by bolting another round with his jockey vainly endeavouring to stop him. After travelling another complete circuit and over three and a half miles in all, the Waverly-trained gelding decided to call it a dav and was brought 1 hnek to the birdcage with his rider throwing out the most signs- of distress.
