" •; CHRISTCHURCH, August 18. Follomng the winning run of Bridge Acre in the Selwyn Handicap at Riccarton, the owner, Mr. J. L. Cheesman, trainer, R. WiLson, and jockey, C. _ T. Wilson. were cliarged with not ruhning Bridge Acre on lier merits in ihe Paparua Tlandicap on the first day and - August Handicap on the second day of thfrv. Crand National meeting. After liearing evidence the charges wero disinissed by the judicial committee of the Canterburv Jockey Club.
