NO LET UP FROM DROUGHT
Received Sundav, 7 p.m. STDNEY, August 18. Graziers in western and northwestern New South Wales are fighting to lteep their stock alive by hand feeding or are faeing considerabla expense entailed in sending -sheep and eattle by truck to bettei; -pastures. ]\Tany sheep are too weak for droving and road transport is searce and higlily priced. Because of the fuel shortage, rail transport is im possible in many districts. There is no sign .of the drought breaking. Even Sydne-y, where temperatures are mild and nights eool, has had only four points of rain in 36 days.
