COMMUNIST OFFICES RAIDED
FOLICE SEISE FILES Received Saturday, 9.40 a.m. CAPETOWN, Aug. 16. Police raided the Communist Party's national executive offices and seized a number of flies. They also raided the Johannesburg offlces. The Communist Party's national chairman, Mr. Andrews, said the purpose of the raid was to try and connect the Communist Party with industrial strikes in the Rand. "We ■ are not behind the trade unions' strike action," he said.
