Reuter's Alexandria correspondent reports that the Arai) Foreign Minister. after a two-liour meeting, announced that they had decided to send representatives to London to negotiate with Britain 011 the Palestine question. Assam Paslui told the jn'ess that there w;is no question of a roundtable conferenee in whic.h Ziouist leaders would participate. It is reliahlv reported that the Arai) representatives will demand iudependence for Palestine and the cessation .of Jewish immigration. The poliee 111 Jerusalem flred into the air when young Jews, flocking from a protest meeting, demonstrated against the moving of immigrants from Haifa. Jewish demonstrators in Tel Aviv, carrying hanners reading, ' ' iShame to the British Navy, " tried to set flre to a poliee armoured-car.
