LATE MR. P. W. GOLDSMITH "A great loss has been sustained by our society and the commilnity in general," said the report of the Levin and District Beautifying Society given at the annual meeting of members on Thursday, referring to the death in January last of Mr. P. W. Goldsmith. "We will miss his sage and cheery counsel," the report- continued. "He was a lover of trees, and the many trees and shrubs adorning our reserves and streets will bear long/witness to this, one of his many activities for the advancement and improvement of Levin and district."
