S. | Bernard Ilarbottle, of Otane, was 1 sentenced to 18 months' reformative | detention 011 each of two charges of j uegligent driving causing death and six months' reformative detention on a charge of coin ersion of a motor lorry, the terms to be concurrent. Ilarbottle had reversed his plea of uot guilty to guilty on charges arising out of a tragic accident 011 tlie night of 1 May 11 near Dannevirke when a trucb driven by accused crashed into a service ear, killing a young boy and an elderly nmn and injuring several others.
