PcrsonRl Mr. H. J. Eatwell, a candidate for National honours at the coming election, was among the visitors to Otaki and Levin yesterday. The Rev. Paora Temuera has signified his intention of taking part in the jubilee celebrations to be held at Rotorua in honour of Bishop Bcnnett. Benefit Payments Family benefits will be paid out at the Otaki Post Office on Friday, old age pensions on the 21st and other pensions on the 23rd. Bowling Opening The Raumati Bowling Club has decided to open its season on October 5, while it is stated that the Paekakariki Club will draw' up a programme in connection with the playing of the Mexted Club and other fixtures in which they are interested.
