In order to prevent the serviees being conducted in the church at tlie weekend tlie vestry caused the lock to be ehanged on the front door of the church during the week. However, this loek was replaeed and the wardens again %put a new lock on, but this in turn was again ehanged, and the deor was opened on Friday. An advertisement appeared by order of the vestry stating that there would be no.worship in the eliurch on Sunday, and while the advertisement was repeated on Saturday another announcement was printed over the name of Canon Turner that the ordinary serviees would take place. The viearage, wliieh is held in trust, by the two wardens, kas -been let to the Civic Behabilitation League and is oceupied by a family. The vestry is to meet to consider the new develonment.
