OBITUARY

MR. THOMAS MORGAN The death occurred at the Wellington Hospital yesterday morn'ing .of Mr. Tho.mas Morgan, who had been in failing health for some time. The deceased, who was 82 years of age, was born at Tawa Flat, where he was engaged in bushfelling,' later going 10 Eketahuna, where he was engaged on similar work. He returned to Tawa Fiat, but about sixty years ago came to Otaki, where he felled large areas of bush, and also followed farming pursuits at Rahui. Some time ago he'was injured in a car accjdent at WelHiigton, and a while back entered the hospital. • Mrs. Morgari died some years ago, b\it there are two of a family, Myra (Mrs. Ayres) and Len, the former of Wellington, and the latter of Reefton. There are three survivtng brothers, Norah, Sam and Gharlie, and four sisters, Mesdames Frank Taylor (Otaki), Robinson (Rahui) , Julius (Plimmerton) and Foster (Masterton). The funeral takes place to-mor-ow, leaving the Anglican Church at 2 p.iti.
