SEVERE EARTHQUAKE
Reeeived Sunday, 7 p.in. SANTIAGO, August 3. A severe eartkquake shook Copiapo City, Northern Chile, with a population of 150,000, doing considerable damage, mostly ito older buildings, many of Which were destroyed, bift only two persons were killed. Port Laserena, with a population of 21,000, was shaken, ai.l Vallenar, with a population of 8000, was also severely damaged.
