PARIS PEACE CONFERENCE Reeeived Monday, 11.35 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 4. Cuba has asked for a seat in the peace eonferenee on the grounds that signatoiies to the United , Nations Pact of 1942 cannot make j separate treaties with their enemies, j and also that any nation which | declared war against the Axis should attend. The Associated Press Paris eorrespondent says tlie letter conveying these claims, which was circulated among the Big Four, pleaded also for a "just and equitable peaee" for Italy, on the ground that she helped the Allied victory aird purged herself of Facism.
