SEARCH SO FAR IN VAIN

WELLINGTON, Aug. 5. At mid-day to-day there was no sign of the dinghy which has been missing in the Cook Strait area since yesterday afternoon. An intensive search is being earried out along the eoast, on the sea and from the ar. A Catalina fllyingboat left Auckland at mid-day today to assist in the search. Except for a slight haze the weather is favourable for the search.
