Messrs D. F. C. Saxton, of New Plym'outh, who attended the Imperial Press Conference in London, and Mr. K. J. Holyoake, M.P., of Pahiatua, are passengers in the new Tasman flying boat, Australia, which reached Sydney yesterday. They are due at Auckland to-day. Formerly a well-known resident of Levin, Mr. Mar'k Jennings passed away at his residence, Gloucester Street, Wanganui, at an early hour yesterday morning. The deceased gentleman, who was 68 years of age, had resided in Levin for many years, moving to Wanganui about three years ago. He was a South African veteran and also served during World War 1. The late Mr. Jennings is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. H. E. Bassett, of Wanganui, who will have the sympathy of many friends in their breavement.
