Rfeceived Saturday, 11 a.m. BUDAPEST, Aug. 2. 1 A crowd broke into the police buiiding in the northern industrial town of Miskolcz and dragged the chief of the Political Investigation Department, Arthur Fraenker, into the street and killed him by smash- , ing in his head. They were demonstrating against the alleged illtreatment of sixteen workers, who were arrested after the lynching of two Jews accused of blackmarketThe Russian garrison commander intervened when the crowd attempted to hang Fraenker's corps in the market square.
