A prize of £10,000 iu au overseas lottery lias been won by Mr. Iau Bouifant, hoad auctionecr in Christchurch for Dulgety and Coiupany, Ltd., and iiis brother, Mr. Hrian Bouifant, who is on the s'tafii of the Commereial Bank of i Australia, Dunedin. ! Mr. Ian Bouifant had a distinguishcd ! career in the 2nd N.Z.E.F. during tho war and reaehed the rank of Brigadier. He commandcd the 0th Brigade at Cassiuo and 5th Brigade in the linal Ttalian 1 operatiou from Benio Iiiver to Trieste. Ile won the D.S.O. in Nortli Africa and bar to it in Ttaly. Mr. Brian Bonifant served overseas with the Air Force and reached the rank of Flight Lieutenant. He served in Jiigoslavia and Italy.
